Sounds like the starter is hanging in the flywheel instead of disengaging after the engine is running. This could be due to a few different problems, but it's most likely a bad bendix on the starter. You can buy these pretty cheap at any auto parts store and they're simple to replace. Some garages will go ahead and replace the whole starter, but this is unnecessary and costs way more to do so due to the price of the new starter.

Why does it make a whinning noise in idleing for a 2005 trailblazer

Could be a number of things , like the belt needs replacing, or the Idler pulley bearing is going bad Simply start engine and watch the belt you may see one of the pulleys wobble a little you can try using a bar of cheap soap with engine running gently press against the belt and let it coat it, if the whinning goes away the belt is worn out

Nissan pathfinder 1995 model SUV, when i try to start it its making a whinning noise then i hear a hard clucking sound and the whinning goes away without the car starting

Does the engine crank at all ?
The low whine could be the starter turning but not engaging the flywheel.
The clunk could be when the bendix gear on the starter makes contact with the flywheel.
If the starter does not have enough voltage, the solenoid or bendix may not engage. Even tho you replaced both the starter and battery, there could be a problem with the cables or the ground connection.

2005 trailblazer sounds like a jet at startup. It goes away after 15 seconds oe so. can i fix this?

Depends, these trucks had problems with this, the noise you here is the electric air pump, it can be a little noisey, it should sound like a smooth jet engine bad as it starts going bad it gets a little louder but can still last a while (ayear or two), when it goes bad the engine light will come on, if its not too loud a wouldnt worry about it, even a new one will be heard, maybe not as loud but there noisey, it runs on start ups for a few sec -20 -30) hope this helps. good luck.

Tapping noise on start up then fades away all together within 30-40 seconds, could this be wrong verosity oil or? 2004 workmate 2.7 petrol hilux

The tapping is normal at start up, and is caused by lack of oil at the top of engine. The sound goes away within the time frame you stated (30-40 seconds). You have nothing to worry about.

Soulds like valve clicking noise for about a sec during startup the goes away. when I changed the oil and filter I heard the same thing once I started the engine to let oil circulate through engine

It's normal. When the car has sat, the oil drains down to the pan. On startup, you're starting an engine with no oil pressure (any car is like this), but once the pressure pumps up after a second or two, the noise goes away. Don't worry about this - it's normal.
