Question about 2001 Volkswagen Beetle
I do feel that you will need the exclusive dealer software to locate the problem ,yes i could throw lots of things up that can cause this sort of problem but unless you have a automotive multimeter with scope facilities that you pinch the feed cables and test all the components and the knowledge to do this then you can locate the fault but other than that then you will need the specialist software that only a dealer has ,i would suspect the air flow sensor first but ???? changing parts without knowing the fault could cost a lot of money
