A couple links which may help you. You may get by with cleaning or checking some connection and reset the code and see if it comes back. If you do not have a scan tool to reset the code disconnecting the negative cable on the battery will reset it also. One issue about disconnecting the negative cable is security systems. Some vehicles have security system built into the car or radio. When the battery is disconnected the radio may think it is stolen and will not work again till a code is put in the radio. I have never had a car like this. You may be able to get your local parts store to reset the code with their scan tool. Hope this is of help to you.

How do you unlock the security system on a 2004 grand am?

Put the key ignition to the ON switch for 15 minutes, when the light start blinking (or a beep sound goes on), turn the key to OFF, remove the key (you have to remove it) then start the car again. If it doesn't work, do the whole process for 30 minutes wait instead of 15 minutes. Good luck, there are video also for bypassing the passlock security in youtube.

I have a 2004 dodge caravan security flashing

Not sure if this will work but try disconnecting the negative battery terminal and wait five minutes before reconnecting it. Doing this may reset the security light.

2008 Grand Cherokee Diesel won't crank

Is the security light on in the instrument cluster? This is the most common problem with a no start condition and everything else is powered. Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for about 30 minutes to reset the system and retry starting. Good luck.

Navigator won't start after disconnecting battery for a system reset what's wrong

Maybe it's the security system that disables the ignition. remove the negative cable from the battery and with the ignition switch turned on, connect the cable back. Maybe that will work.

Lights flash when battery cables are connected

Disconnecting and reconnecting the battery cables sets up the security alarm system which is part of the flashing lights. To stop the flashing, insert your key into the drivers side door lock and and turn to the unlock position. This will also stop any unwanted security alarms.

Yellow security is light flashing, battery is charged, hazard light fuse isn't located under the hood for my1990 300zx won't start

If the security light is on then the car thinks someone is trying to steal it. If you can’t make the remote work then you might be able to clear it by disconnecting the Negative battery cable for about 10 minuets
