Question about Dodge Durango

1 Answer

The rear gate on my 2000 Durango keeps slipping and I sometimes have to hold it up. Live outside the US in South America so buying a new pair of hydraulic lifts is almost out of the question in the short term. I know they're filled with gas but I was wondering if you might have any suggestions that would temporarily correct this issue. Thank you

You can order the parts on line, www.rockauto.com meanwhile use a pair of vice grips, put it right on the metal rod and clamp the vice grips

My 2000 durango keep overheating and the hose keeps bursting. the waterpump and various other parts have been changed. The radiator does not have a leak. The pressure in the radiator is said to be fine....

if it has the 4.7L engine they crack cylinder heads and the compression from the engine put air into the cooling system you can buy a tester that you hook up to the cooling system that changes color with exhaust fumes auto parts stores can get it or stock try napa

I can not open my back gate/door on my 2002 durango,is there away to open it from the inside?

sometimes there is an emergency open latch inside the back panel, but usually it is posted on the panel itself. otherwise, try pushing in on the door from the outside, and instead of lifting the handle twist it upward on a pivot.
