Question about 2008 Chrysler Pacifica
My wife's 2008 Pacifica"s engine light comes on then the car shakes horribly. So far on seperate ocassions Chrysler has replaced a coil, replaced plugs, decarboned the engine and and replaced the EGR valve. It still acts up. The problem is that it does this sporadically, usually when we're nowhere near the dealership, and they can't do anything without it acting up for them. My wife took it back and they said they have no more ideas and can't do anything. We've put a lot of money into it while still making payments. Warranty ran out 5k ago. My wife travels for work almost daily and I'm worried about her breaking down in the middle of nowhere. Please help.
This may not be a solution, but I would contact Chrysler customer service/owner relations number in your manual, and explain that it has been an ongoing problem since .... and has never been cured and that you feel it should still be covered under warranty. They might even contact dealer and give them some advice where to look for problem, as well as continue warranty coverage for said problem, or refer you to another dealer.
