Question about 1998 Chevrolet Cavalier
Tanks for choosing FixYa and welcome. You have a dip stick that has marks on it. You should have a cold mark and a hot mark. Some only have one mark, which is to check when the car is warm. You should allow the car to run for about 10 minutes before you check it. Make sure you check it on level ground. If you are above the mark, then you have to much in it. If your below it, add more. Add very little at a time so you don't over fill it. If you are at the mark, the level is correct. The dip stick should be on the right side of the engine, most times. It may be labeled.
