Question about 1997 Dodge Grand Caravan
There is a critter in there called a fuel pressure regulator, could be that it dumps pressure or plugs up when the pump starts. However even on a car that old a dealer service department can actually save you money on repairs as they have the technical bulletins, the diagnostic tools, and most importantly they have worked on that model hundreds if not thousands of times and know its peculiarities. I would pay a dealer a hundred bucks for a diagnostic before I changed out one more good part.
