Have the u-joints inspected for wear. It is possible at low speeds it is jumping. If no wear is present the only other thing would probably be in the differential itself.

2006 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner, 2WD, 4.0L V6, 5-speed Automatic has a severe vibration from the speed of 20 mph to 50 mph, then the vibration will slightly deminish.

Is it the engine vibrating or the car? If its the car itself it sounds like u need to have the tires checked & balanced.

My 2000 Toyo. Tacoma Prerunner TRD V6, truck Failed smog due to the part #3 Functional Computer Tests due to an erased MIL. But had passed the Visual Inspection, and Emissions. So i bought a Code reader...

there are 2 sensors in the system
one is a heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) in the exhaust manifold / pipe before the cat converter that reports the exhaust gas composition to the ECM so that fuel/ air ratios can be adjusted
if that one is faulty it is most likely the reason for running lean or rich
the second sensor is the oxygen sensor (O2) which is after the cat converter and reads the results of the cat converter cleaning the exhaust
you may have to replace both the sensors to get a clearance or replace the cat converter as well as the HO2S unit

Engine Light On

At first it will cost you from $60-70 (Midas) to nothing if you go to the nearest parts store (you need to call them and ask if they do it for free, I can suggest Autozone) and do the computer diagnostic of your car to get the malfunction codes. After you get the codes you can call the repair shops and get the estimate. But first you can try to do to change the gas station and use a fuel injector cleaner (form $1 to $6 in Walmart).
Good Luck
