It just all depends. Do you trust this shop? Have you tried to get a second opinion?

Besides this site? The reason I ask is because we can't see the damage.

I know it is not 75 feet. It would have to be closer to 25-40 feet. Have you got down under the car and looked at it yourself?

How do I replace a brake booster on a 1998 Buick LeSabre? Brakes hold but make a whooshing when applied.

May not be the booster as some do make a noise when the brakes are applied. To test press the brakes several times with engine off, Press the pedal down hard and start the engine , the pedal should move down slightly and there should be no whooshing sound . if the above is ok so is the booster.

Sounds as if the back bracks are so worn the wheel calipers are sticking or some brake part has failed. Tear down rear brakes to see what has happened.

I replaced the bulb in the back window brake light but still not working?

The third brake light is powered thru the brake switch but does not go thru the turn signal switch.
You may need a wiring diagram to know where to look next.

Bad brake master cylinder could cause this, It will start leaking internally and not build up pressure. Will happen just do to age, will need to replace it and bleed brake system.

Why brakes do not work?

bad brake master cylinder, or booster, or contaminated brake fluid, or leaking and worn brake lines, have car towed to shop, brakes are a serious deal. Not worth guessing over, and if they fail to do the job correctly, they"ll be the ones at fault. go to a shop that you can trust.

Brakes are burning up

Check the rubber brake hoses. Many times they internally fail and prevent calipers from releasing.

2002 Buick LeSabre V-6 Fuel leak but cannot be located.

The fuel lines are steel except for the plastic ends where they need to be flexible for the push-on type connectors. If I am right, those plastic ends pass just under your cabin air intake. Just below that, is a common bend where the steel lines usually rot. If you have high miles they may be baked, or if you had recent engine work they may have been flexed to one side hard enough to split one the three. If one is leaking it is best to replace them all. Don't take chances with gas fumes or leaks. Do it right away!

Rear brakes need ajustment on Buick Lesabre

I don't know if this works on a Buick but I have had two cars that the auto adjusters worked when you used the parking brake, I rarely use the parking brake so I got in the habit of working the parking brake 20 times or so at oil change time.

No brakes in my 1998 buick leSabre

running master low enought for brake light to come on, you might have got air into system, if that is the case you will have to bleed out the breaks. worse case, it would need a new master cyl.
