How do I get oil pan off on a 2000 Saturn LW300 V6 3.0L

The official shop manual reads :
Remove nose cone brackets bolts from oil pan.
Remove lower transmission flange to oil pan bolts.
Remove oil pan bolts.
Using designated pry points to break loose the seal. Bump the pan with a rubber mallet to loosen the pan from the engine block.
Remove oil pan.
By the illustrations, the only thing in the way is the oil pickup tube.... Good luck !

Oil pan

Remove exhaust crossover pipe and oil qty level sensor, Once you undo bolts if you find that it wont come off that means this model has bolts that cant be accessed without removing powertrain cradle.

Removal oil pan

try and use a impact driver. do it slow and make sure you have a few bolts in around it so you don't pinch the bolts you are trying to get out

Oil pan plug does'nt have original one, cant i just buy a new one instead of a whole new oil pan

Basically oil pan plug is nothing but a bolt with crush washer. Buy the bolt of the same no. as the old plug one and new crush washer with it. Just make sure you buy a good quality bolt.

I'm trying to remove my oil pan on a 2000 Silverado 1500 with a 4.3L V6. I've removed all of the bolts, the starter, the transmission cooling lines, the oil level sensor bracket, the front wire bracket,...

I am not sure, But there could be six more bolts to remove. They will be on the side of the pan, about half way up. three on each side. Sorry for guessing, I work on to many makes and models. Also the gaskets do hold the pan on tight sometimes. If there are no extra bolts then carefully pry it off.

How to change oil pan seal

start the car and let run for 2 minutes just to warm the oil and make it a little thinner, turn car off. now if you cant get under the car jack ther car up, and let the vehicle rest on jack stands. drain the oil from the oil drain plug which should be on the bottom of the oil pan. once the oil is drained replace the oil drain bolt and tighten it. then remove all of the bolts that keep the oil pan in place. should be around 6 of them. remove oil pan and scrape off the old seal with a clean scraper. place new seal on, and replace the pan. put the bolts back on tightly and refill the engine oil to specified amount. check to be sure there is no leak on the oil pan. turn vehicle on and let the car run for a few minutes. make sure there is still no leak.

Oil change

It's a regular 12mm bolt (it doesn't look like a "plug") protruding horizontally from the back corner of the oil pan (aluminum pan with a waffle pattern, pretty much centered just in front of the front axle).
