Check our air filter. Nine times out of ten it is something very minor .If you have not changed your air filter in a while, this could cause the loss of power going uphill. On flat ground the vehicle does not have to work as hard as uphill. If your air filter is dirty, this will hamper the carb from breathing properly, thus no power.

Try changing fuel filter first, if not done recently. If it has been done lately, have fuel pressure tested.
If changing filter doesn't cure it, have fuel pressure tested . Also wouldn't hurt to stop into big parts store chain like Autozone, or Pep Boys for free trouble code scan & see if any have been stored. Write any /all, down & get back to us if you get some.

what code are u getting have the vehicle scanned for the trouble code most auto stores offer this service for fee such as auto zone / advanced auto check ur local area the trouble code will gie u a start point towards fixing ur problem
