Sounds like you are getting moisture into the computer, or there is some other type of electrical glitch going on. From working on cars my whole life and seeing this issue in the past, I would say to take it to a Chevy Dealership, they are going to have to run tests on the computer, but it does sound like the computer is bad and will need replacing.

1 thing to check before you go replacing the PCM. We have plastic intake manifolds which are right below the PCM where your heat lamp was. With temperature related problems similar to this, I'd check the manifold bolts for tightness (these have a tendency to become loose causing vacuum problems). Easiest to check are #5 & #6 near the firewall. When the engine warms up, the plastic will expand causing no problems, but when it's cold, will contract and have vacuum leaks. Do you have any check engine lights? pcmforless.com is a good sight for repairing PCM problems if you deem this is indeed the problem. You can send your PCM in and they even send you a loaner PCM while yours is being repaired, but they have several programs to choose from.

While drviing down freeway today the 2.5 ltr engine died and will crank but will not start. one month ago it was backfireing in intake and dieing on freeway and i thought i had bad gasoline it fixit

you need three main conponents for the engine to run, fuel, spark, compression . first have someone to crank the motor and put the spark plug lead of the plug and hold it near the block and if there is spark it will jump a inch or so, check the fuel filter , hold the fuel line clear of electirical and heat, crank engine , fuel will flow, when engine is running but running rough as a miss fire disconnect plug lead one at a time till you find missing cylinder

In my 2004 envoy as soon as i turn my air on it shuts down please help me...

You need to have the throttle body cleaned. Make sure that both the front and rear sides are cleaned thoroughly. Also, the battery should be disconnected while the cleaning is done, this will reset the computer and allow it to relearn to the cleaned throttle body.

I have a 2003 Envoy XL the rear windshield wiper works but the rear washer won't work

{: ) The rear washer pump is attached to the washer fluid reservoir. Below the left headlamp assembly. Ignition on, engine off. Switch ON the rear washer control. If you can hear the rear washer motor works, check for clogged hoses and tubes. If it's not clogged, your motor could only be running but not pumping.
If you cant hear the washer motor at work, its probably faulty.
To rule out if its a control switching issue, get a test light to check for voltage at the washer connector if you could only access it. Its better to check on that end. If you cant access it, at least probe the rear washer fuse at the underhood fuseblock. The test lamp should light everytime you switch on the rear washer switch.
