Well, someone told me that it could be the transmission that needed a service, so, I took it and the mechanic said, it was not transmission problem, so he diagnosed and it showed that there was a fault with the throttle control sensor, so he cleared the codes, and told me to bring it back when done it again to check it, but is being a week and it has not done it and is running like nothing happened, lucky me, and it didn't cost me a cent, thanks guys for your willingness to help.

Hi,

You can check out whether or not the fuel is using up, because no fuel can get pumped up to the engine. And if the fuel pump goes bad, the car will stall while you are driving. Bad injectors in a multi-port system will make the car run rough, which can cause a stalling situation, but generally, the car will restart. There are other problems that can make a car stall---is the ignition system, the fuel system or in the drive train. If the timing belt breaks, the car will stall. If the computer itself stops working, the car will stall. Neither item will allow a car to start back up until it is repaired. If the plug wires, plugs or coils are bad and are causing the engine to misfire, the engine will run rough. This may also cause the car to stall when driving. Generally, it will start back up, but it may be difficult to keep the car running.

So there are various reasons as to why car stalls while driving. Please check this links bellow to have detailed idea related to your issue

How do I remove ashtray from 2005 kia optima?

most ash trays are removed by pulling out then pressing down on the centre bit and continue pulling out
as you pull it out you will notice the centre bit pop up a bit. this is the lock stop that prevents the tray from falling put as you pull it out

My 2001 Kia optima will not accelerate over 3000 rpm

I had that exact problem with my 2005 Kia optima.. It suddenly started one morning.. My Kia would not turn over.. I felt it was a power issue so I unattached my after market fog-lights that I have attached to my battery.. That got my ride to start, but upon driving it refused to go past 3000 rpms (in all gears)... I took apart my battery terminals and scrubbed them down with a tooth brush and coca-cola.. That was a perfect fix for my situation.. My Kia ran perfectly right after...
Good luck

Change your crankshaft sensor located behind lower timing belt cover. The way I check it is to unplug the maf and see if it will start if so stop the engine and do a diagnostic 3 DTC's should come up on screen ,one would be the crankshaft sensor. This should be done by a experienced tech.

2002 kia optima,,, whining noise that stops when turning left

power steering pump probably went out.. if you can easily get at the belt and are any kind of mechanically inclined, remove the drive belt to the p/s pump and then start the car if the noise is gone then its probably part of the power steering pump

My 05 kia optima is loosing power

To confirm the clutch is slipping , drive at about 35mph in 5th gear and then put your foot to the floor (making sure the road in front is clear!) IF the engine note increases along with the revs and the speed stays the same then it is the clutch that needs replacing.
