Dear,

Usually the fuel filters comes by itself if you loosen all the nuts and screws.

There might be some screw left unscrewed due to which it seems to get jammed .

Kindly observe the fuel filter carefully and look for some possibilites.

thanx

The bolts & nuts for the roof rail are rusty & stuck , I need to know how to solve this problem and change the nuts and bolts my car is cherokee laredo 2004

There are a few ways, use a small steel brush and clean them as good as you can then spray some pb blaster on them and let them sit for 2hrs then respray them again and try to loosen then, the other way would be to cut them off, not to sure how much room you have but these are the ways to remove them i think cutting may be the best way to go depending on how rusted they are , the bp blaster is the best stuff i ever used and if you soak them they just may break free.

The door ajar light stays on all the time. I tried to push in on the doors, but nothing works. Please help me John M

this is caused by the door ajar switch sticking. easiest and cheapest way to fix this is to spray a generous amount of wd-40/enforcer/pb blaster or like spray chemical into all the door latches. this will free up the sticking switch. spray it into all your door latches since we dont know which switch is sticking and spray a lot of wd-40 onto them

Remove the throttle body and clean the carbon off the throttle plate being carefull not to harm any coating that may be applied from the manf. I use P.B Blaster and a piece of scotch brite pad. spray pleanty P.B on the pad after words clean with a soft cloth. Disconnect the battery to completly clear the code.

I have a 1989 k1500 350 5.7L. how to remove the fuel filter from the gas tank. It's rusty around the fuel filter and gas tank. I just don't want to miss anything up.

The best think i have found to use on rusty parts is called PB Blaster, It comes in an areosal can that can be purchased at any local parts store such as Autozone or Advanced Auto Parts, Spray some on the rusty parts and let it soak for a little while and it should break free no problem.

I hope this helps, Good Luck, Allen

How to change fuel pump 1990 cadillac seville

The fuel pump and sending unit is located in the tank. I hope your tank is empty, if not you will need to siphon it out. It is dangerous with the gasoline, and remember the fumes burn, not gas. You start by removing the filler hose, then loosen straps, detach sending unit wire and fuel line, then lower tank. Then unscrew the sending unit/pump and replace. reinstall.
