As I said in another post, check the catalytic converter. That fixed my problem!

Need to check you exhaust system for leaks. You can easily do this by getting the car up on jack stands and use the backside of your hand holding it close BUT NOT TOUCHING OBVIOUSLY to find the leak.

Engines need backpressure which is essential for the effeciency of the engine.

My accent gets louder wen I accelerate, is this from my exhaust?

Yes, and if you take your foot off the gas, it disappears - right?

If too noisy you might have a hole in your muffler or one of the popes leading to muffler.

When i accelerate it sounds like a hole in my muffler, but when I maintain a constant speed it goes away, what can it be?

It could be a small hole or the baffles are loose in the muffler itself. You can either check this out yourself by jacking the vehicle up and starting it and see where the noise is coming from or have it looked at at a repair shop.Make sure they show you the problem if they find one.Don`t just take they`er word.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Exhaust muffler got louder. No holes in muffler.

Probably corrosion inside destroying the baffles and letting the wadding to break up. Sorry new is the answer.

I can feel friction while driving above 15 mph.

If you have a bad wheel bearing then you will have a vibration that you will notice. If that is the case then you have a bad wheel bearing.

If you had a hole in your muffler it would be loud all the time and be even louder upon acceleration. You could check this first by getting under your car while its running and see if exhaust is coming out where it shouldn't be.

Very loud sound when driving as though muffler not functioning. Drivability okay otherwise. Service Dept can"t see me for a few more weeks and not sure if it's safe?

You should be okay for short trips . I think the muffler went out has a hole or leak.
The noise is going to get louder and louder if it is the muffler.
