Black smoke and intercooler hose swelling when reved up

black smoke is not enough air for the mixture
the intercooler hose swelling up when the turbo cuts in indicates a blockage in the intercooler or air inlet into the manifold
with a blockage ou will get black smoke so check the intercooler cores for blockages

6D40 Fuso engine oil coming out from exhaust pipe after overhauling

You missed a seal on the turbo. Or the turbo is bad. Everything else you did would only make it smoke bad if you missed something.

I have isuzu bighorn '92 model automatic, there is a leaking oil under the intercooler turbo...is this normal?thanks.

Leaking of any fluid is not normal. The only time any fluid should expel from the car is if you have overfilled something. Your turbo could need replacing, you could have a hole in the intercooler. Have you noticed any lack of performance or extra smoke...

Where does one investigate oil consumption in a 1.8 liter turbo engine in a 2001 vw golf using 1-quart every 50 to 100 miles driven, no tail pipe smoke and no leakes on drive way when parked overnight. I...

If you don't drive this little beast hard the oil could be migrating to the charge pipes and inter cooler.

Usually the turbo is likely culprit when oil consumption reaches those levels. Pull the spark plugs to see if the tips are loading up with carbon deposits.

You can pull the lower hose of the inter cooler...drivers side under the bumper....and see if oil pours out. If so the turbo is shot.

Another way oil is consumed is valve stem seals allowing oil down the intake valve guides. Cure is a set of valve stem seals.

I have fault code 00575 intake manifold pressure on my audi a4 soft top were in engine is this component found

I assume it is a turbo diesel? Then:

Location of the sensor:
- in early cars is in the ECU, with vacuum pipe going from intake maniforld duct to the ECU
- later models on the air intake duct, with wiring going to the ECU.

The fault may often be caused by:

- air leaks in MAP sensor line to the ECU (early ones only) or any of the vacuum control line hoses. This normally due to perished/loose flexi pipes, etc).
- leaks in the air hoses going between turbo/engine/intercooler. Can be spotted by slight oil contamination at the point of leak.

Or it's variable vaine sticking (even intermittently) in the turbo due to contamination, preventing the turbo from performing according to the ECU demand, and hence being 'shut-off' by th ECU

So - check all vacum line for leaks, ensure turbo actuator is free to move, all air hoses are intact and secure, intercooler not leaking.

There is oil in my 2004 BMW 320d return pipe from the intercooler to the intake manifold and smoke when started.

simple. the trubo bearing/seal (probably more the seal) is stating to go and that is leaking oil into the return pipe. take pipe off and have a look at the turbo and see if you can see any oil leaking from inside of it. also oil in the intercooler = bad clean out after fixing the turbo = use solvent or something to dissolve oil but make sure you let the intercooler dry out before re-installing it

No power loads of blue smoke and a rattle or jinggle while idle

from what you describe re turbo and blue smoke then you say impellor is loose?? this soundslike the tubo has failed because the oil seals have gone allowing oil loss to bearings due to entering the induction/manifold you will req a recon or new turbo and if yours is intercooled then the intercooler will req cleaning as will ind hoses when work is completed the smoke will be evident for a while due to exhaust system contamination especially catalytic ? i'm afraid these components are expensive and not really diy
