Check the ground wires for the headlights. Usually by the lights on each side.

Why are al my lights coming on when I mash the brake peddle or use left turn signal

Spray electrical cleaner in where the emergency flasher switch is. Turn it on/off rapidly several times. Spray into the directional switch, too. Dirty contacts there are a common source of trouble. Might need a new multi-function switch if cleaning does not fix it.

Reverse lights stay on when turn on headlights why

About the only thing that might connect the two circuits would be the lamp assembly. Its possible there's something shorted between the two where the bulbs are fitted or in the wiring harness. Especially if the backup lights come on with either the parking lights or headlights.

maybe you should have someone look at your wiring system. maybe some ground wires might not be grounded.check and make sure the right amps are in your fuse box for your lightning.

If the 15 amp fuse #20 in under the hood is good, suspect the headlight switch is bad.

I'm trying to replace the tail lights on my motor home which is built on a for econoline chasis (1988) when I took the old ones off a lot of the wires were pulled out of the assembly or just rusted off. ...

Reconnecting a 7 wire circuit.....I presume you have located the rear JUNCTION BOX, or HARNESS splice.... At the lights wiring.
1. YELLOW = LH Turn signal
2. RED= STOP Lights
3. WHITE= Ground
4. BLACK= LH Tail Light/# plate lamp
5. BLUE [If available] Auxiliary Power Supply
6. GREEN= RH Turn signal
7.BROWN=RH Tail Lights
Depending on style you may find that the LH and RH Tail lamp colours are the same.[ie] Both Brown or both Black.
Best of luck in your endevours.
