Fuel pump driver module

Hi Donald,

The Jeep electronics are all controlled by the onboard computer. If you have a problem with the fuel pump then it will be the fuel pump. The computer will give you a warning if there is anything wrong with the electronics.

Good luck.

Do I have to tear the dash apart to locate this cluster where eveything plugs in on a 99 jeep cherokee sport, what does it look like?

So that you get a little confidence in what
you are going to attempt, please go to your auto supply store and get a copy of the Haynes '99 Jeep Cherokee service manual. It has everything in it to help you. Don't panic...take it slow!

88 jeep cherokee icm

The ignition control module for the 1988 Jeep Cherokee is located on the ignition coil for the 4.0 L SSI, or in the distributor for the HEI system, which is easily identified by the large distributor cap. The 2.5 L Renix ignition module is located left of the battery and is integrated to the coil.
