Question about Audi A4

I have a 1998 audi a4 quattro which has recently started to stall on me whether im driving or at a stop...if driving its only while clutch is in to shift gears??? not sure where to start to look for the problem

You have to clean the throttle control motor and then adjust the motor with a scan tool

have you checked your calipers? They may be sticking putting lots of strain onto the drive shaft causing it to vibrate.

With all the recent snow and grit on the roads you may have some caught in the mechanism meaning it cant release.

Just a small thought to start to determine the problem.

Audi a4 2.5 tdi quattro sport, was holding back then just stopped


More than likely the fuel pump. This may sound stupid but take something and give your gas tank a bit of a thump. What year is the car?

2004 a4 QUATTRO 1.8T. STALLED WHILE DRIVING. STARTED THEN STALLED. WILL NOT START NOW. TRIED TO LOCK AND UNLOCK CAR WITH KEY AND REMOTE.


Hi I'm litoshop before you continue trying to turn on the car check the timing belt if the car stalled while driving and you have more then 70,000 miles most likely the timing belt is gone and if that's so then check you did not bent the valves good luck if this information has been helpful please let use know thank you

2000 audi a4 2.8 quattro/ oil lamp light on center of dash


have the oil pressure checked as soon as you can... also have them check the wiring for the oil sending unit
