This means you have a lean condition. Most times you have a vaccum leak on the engine somewhere. without knowing make model year and engine size this is the most info i can give you. It is almost never the sensors that cause this problem, dont let the auto parts store talk you into buying them they are not the problem

Code po107

Just because your getting a code from a sensor doesn't mean the sensor is N/G. The MAP sensor reads the manifold air pressure, that can be anything from a vacuum leak, elec short, bad plug/wire, miss, gasket and the list goes on. It can be a bad sensor too, don't get me wrong. Does it run rough, hard start, did you ck the emissions? First things first Vacuum leaks & gaskets are popular. Once in a while I cross paths w/ a cracked manifold. Don't throw your $ out the window, Do it once & do it right. Good luck

What does a P2198 code mean?

O2 Sensor Signal Biased/Stuck Rich Bank 2 Sensor 1. Replace all four sensors. Replacing only one will just fix the problem temporarily because the rest will go bad in a short period of time. You wouldn't just replace one worn break pad.

Replacing the output shaft speed sensor - speedometer will not work?

Codes do not mean a sensor is bad or needs to be replaced

Codes could mean the sensor is doing it's job & the transaxle
has a problem.

You need to google the code & do some research on diagnosing it.

Never need a dealer for anything, unless you like spending extra money vs: a local shop

That sensor is a magnetic output sensor & it gets it's field activated
from a toothed wheel inside the trans, on one of the clutch drums,
so no programming etc.

Where is the oxigen sensor in my ford ranger 2003 v6 3.0l engine?

You have upstream & downstream

You usually have the upstream ones closest
motor fail first

The codes should point you to the correct
sensor if that is even the problem

The codes don't mean the sensor failed
in all cases

The sensor should be in the converter inlet
or exhaust pipe before it

The downstream or monitor sensors are in the
converter on the outlet side & should not need
to be replaced

Any vacuum leaks will set an O2 Code,so don't
just expect it to be a sensor gone bad

Google the codes you get & read up

P0154 Trouble Code on my 2002 Mitsubishi Montero Sport. Where exactly is the bad 02 sensor? There are four of them and I don't know which one is the Bank 2 #1 sensor.

Bank 2 is the side of the engine with cylinder number 2, and sensor one is the sensor in front of the catalytic converter.
Please know that the code does not mean the sensor is bad, only that the reading the computer is getting is constantly lower than .3 volts.
The sensor could be faulty, or there could be a problem with the fuel injectors or the wiring harness to the sensor.
When the sensor is working correctly, the reading should switch back and forth between .3 and 1.0 volts.

2001tiburoncomputor codes, po136 & 141 what do they refer to.

P0136 = Oxygen Sensor Circuit Malfunction (Bank1, Sensor2)
P0141 = Oxygen Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank1, Sensor2)

CHECK WIRING BEFORE REPLACING SENSORS

If 4 cylinder engine, there are only two O2 Sensors - Sensor 1 is on top, Sensor 2 is at the bottom

If 6 cylinder, there are four (4) O2 sensors (Bank1, Sensor2 is on the firewall side of this engine and is referred to as the 'DOWNSTREAM' sensor (the one AFTER the Catalytic Converter)

My engine light stay on and there are four codes. I changed the bank 1 sensor 2 and a new gas cap and also theegr oxygen sensor but the engine light is still on. any suggestion?

did you clear the light? if so what are the codes? codes don't mean a certain sensor is bad, only that there is a problem in that sensors circuit, it can be the sensor or the wiring or a mechanical fault in the engine or the computer, which is rare.

1996 mitsubishi eclipse 2.0 non turbo

That's wrong and the mechanic should know that. For 96 and newer cars, OBD 2 (onboard diagnostics, second generation) systems are in use, and the codes that come up are four digit codes.

That means that the code you got is 1255, not four individual one-digit codes (even a pre-96 car would have two digit codes, not single digit). Generically, a 1200-series code deals with fuel and air metering, but unfortunately I don't have a listing for a 1255. What symptoms does your car have? Is it just bad gas mileage or is it acting up in other ways? Post up as a reply here with anything along those lines that you can think of and I'm sure we'll figure out the problem.
