I have a 95 civic dx i changed the distrib but my car still wont start, someone told me that it could be this relay do you know what relay and if that might be the problem. thanks

It's called the security/alarm relay. Marked on the relay panel/lid. It can be bypassed and still run. I did a 95 about 40 cars back. I would need to a pinout of the relay to tell you which wires to connect together.

You need to find someone who has and knows how to read a voltmeter and make sure the ig relay is being activated by the ig switch and go from there.

How do you know the battery is good had enough crank power?

-Possibly the starter is not working properly. Remove it and take to AutoZone auto part store to test for you.

As long as the engine sizes are the same it will work.

if engine cranks, replace main relay, if no crank, replace ICM.

The Ignition Can Cause This Try Taking All The Keys Off Your Keyring And See If When You Use Strictly The Vehicle Key If It Still Does This.

Could be coil or ignition module starting to fail
