You need a harmonic balancer puller to remove it, it will probably noy come off any other way.

Harmonic balancer came a part, motor still in car, can this balancer be removed while in the. is there clearance to do this between the frame and balancer thank u for your help.

I would attempt this in car. I might have to remove the radiator to allow me to use an impact gun to undo the crankshaft nut and fit the balancer puller .

Harmonic balancer removal

I have removed several of the harmonic balancer bolts, and it is difficult to hold the harmonic balancer from spinning when you remove the bolt. The bolt is normal thread, and removal is counterclockwise. There is a Honda holding tool you can get, or possibly borrow from a autoparts store. I always use either an impact wrench or a long breaker bar, and hold the harmonic balancer from rotating with a chain style wrench. I use an old belt to keep from damaging the damper pulley.
Good luck!

Harmonic balancer nut will not budge

recommend putting a breaker bar on the nut and tapping it counterclockwise with a hammer. Or if you have room for an impact wrench

Replace timing chain

remove radiator and hoses, remove enough accessory brackets to get to water pump, remove waterpump & harmonic balancer, take timing cover loose, loosen oil pan bolts(take about the first 3-4 completely out and loosen the rest), reinstall harmonic balancer bolt and line up timing marks. cylinder #1 at top dead center and valves for cylinder #1 closed. remove harmonic balancer bolt and remove cam gear bolts and crankshaft gear, install is reverse order..
