There are a number of potential leak sources. Since my super powers aren't working very well this week, I suggest you look at it carefully and find the leak source. Pumps leak from a small hole on the bottom of the pump, right behind the pulley.

Look in engine compartment from underneath- if water coming from directly over crank pulley(big one closest to ground) ,yes its the water pump- could also be lower hose(radiator hose closest to ground),if leaking up top - could be other radiator hose- if leaking near fire wall- heater hose- ?where is the water appearing?

The water pumps tend to slowly leak on these, it may be leaking slowly, usually it leaves a coolant residue on the front of the engine and near the front of the oil pan. It is temp sensitive, usually leaks cold and stops leaking when warm

Hose broke and antifreeze all leaked out

heater hoses one in the back of the engine on the intake the other off the water pump, overflow hose from the radiator by the cap and then to the bottle then of course your radiator upper and lower hoses theres not any more than those.

It is the water pump most likely, they have ,what they call a weep hole in the bottom under the pulley,so they will leak out to let you know to change them right away.If it is on the top coming from the intake area,it would be the intake, they are also bad to leak, but look at the pump, under the pulley.

1994 Jeep Cherokee Sport is leaking antifreeze in

Its probably the seal around the water pump shaft dried out from sitting. You'll have to replace the water pump. Plan most of a Saturday if you have never done it before.

Heater Core Leaking 2001 GMC Sierra 5.3. I have a strong antifreeze smell in the cab and this morning the heater fogged up the windows. I have read that replacing the heater core also involves evacuating...

you could quick fix! but you will have no heat, 1st under the hood, look at the back of motor, follow all you're radiator hoses, take two hoses off the heater core stick a pipe that is big enough then clamp the pipe down. to both sides of hoses to the pipe you will eventually have to replace heater core!!

This is very likely a water pump. It is on the right side and often water is thrown around by the belt. A pump is about $35 and labor should be no more than $60. You would also have the cost of the antifreeze ($15 to $20) and possibly a serpentine belt if required.

If you are mechanically inclined, this is not that difficult of a job. After doing 2 I got the job down to 45 minutes. You must remove the pulley first then the water pump bolts.
