i have a 1995 318 tds 5 speed manual and it refuses to go into first gear. so i need a replacement gearbox.which one's will fit? from petrol or diesel. please help it's very annoying

-   i have the same problem
you'll have to get a diesel box as the gear ratios are diff diesel/petrol
i'm trying to fix mine think it might be just the gear linkage
can anyone shed some light on this for me thanks
