Question about 1989 Jeep Comanche

Open Question

I have an 89 Jeep Comanche, 6 cyl 5 speed. I recently changed out all my spark plugs, clutch, battery, put in a new freeze plug, new oil change and new ignition coil. The jeep always started and i never drove it because of the freeze plug being blown, knowing what serious damage it could have done to the engine. After we replaced the clutch it won't start at all leading to the new spark plugs, battery, and ignition coil. please help

Get a complete tune up. Change the spark plugs, spark plug wires, oil change, electronic ignition starter, and points..if you have an older vehicle.

GM swears the plugs will last 100k miles, yet I have had to replace them as early as 30k miles.(That was on my wife's 05 Pontiac montana.) A word of advice: Don't get the fancy aftermarket double or triple platinum plugs. I had to replace those again 5k miles later. Went back to ac delco platinums and they're still working after 50k more miles.

How do i perform a tune up on a 2003 jeep liberty sport V-6 2WD do i just replace the spark plugs because I haven't worked on a jeep before please help?

That is about it, Spark plugs are rare, they go 100,000 miles, plus, now days, air filter, oil, belts, fluids. Belts get checked, but only get replaced at 60,000. That is about it. Hope this helps.

Check your spark plugs. Without good spark plugs the ignition won't ignite. Just go look for Jeep spark plugs at like AutoZone and they are real cheap. To change them you will need a long socket wrench to twist them out and change each one.

I had the same problem... frustrating.

I picked up a repair manual at the parts store. I took off the throttle body and cleaned it with throttle body cleaner spray. I changed the Idle Air Control Valve (idle speed motor) which was very clogged. While I had the throttle body off I also changed the Map Sensor and Throttle Position Sensor. The manual will walk you through the steps. I had never done anything like this before. If I can do you so can you.
My Jeep has never run better. Good Luck
