Question about 1998 Nissan Pathfinder
It's usually on the air intake plastic tube before the air cleaner. It seldom fails.
what are your symptoms?
You may have a dirty MAF sensor needing spray cleaning with MAF sensor or carb cleaner.

The Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor/Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor is located in the air cleaner case.
