2011 Explorer water leak driver floor

The only water leaks I know that appear inside a vehicle is normally from a bad heater core, but that normally leaks onto the floor of the passenger side. I would check your heater core regarding this problem.

Miata 1991 w soft top,my daughter bought. First hard rain water was in the trunk, in the back of interior and driver's floor board. Plus we heard the sloshing of water noise. More like waves. We used

the water may be in the rocker panels of the body ( that area that runs under the doors from mudguard to mudguard on the sides ) there will be drain plugs in the under side that will let the water out. I would be checking the rear window for leaks and the boot lid seal. Check the boot seal for security by placing a layer of Vaseline on the boot lid where the rubber will be touching and close the lid. Open the lid and see where the vaseliene has not been disturbed and that will be the leak area

Water driver side floor

Check the openings where the steering column, brakes, wiring go through the body of the car. Look closely on the engine compartment side of the firewall and ensure all the boots that seal the things going through the firewall are in place and in good shape.

02 1800 petrol vectra leaking in rain water.

check the drain hole in under the front window voth side you will probably find a lot of leaves and muck in there clean this out. if sun roof fitted after you do this blow out the muck in there and re do the front pars again. check the wiring seals are ok and that there is no rust on the walls inside there. it should stop now. also this can happen in vectras to on the roof near to the rear doors on both sides there is a plastic cover. take them off and reseal them at same time put the plastic bit back on so the sealant holds them in place the check the seal in the boot just after the part just sealed there is to gromets with the wire coming out make sure they are in good and sealed and the seal on the part from roof to boot don't have splits in the seal if it has reseal them. had to do this to father in laws as the boot started growing mushrooms and mould. also check the seal on the arial if fitted to the roof.

Major water leak when it rains, water runs down driver side floor

Keep looking by covering area at hood etc and running water on the vehicle to locate where it is coming in---Windshield?

This is the best way if you cannot trace the stains from water to source.

Water started on drivers floor and after a heavy

If you remove the carpet, you will find rubber plugs there that plug the drain holes in the floor. May be that one of them has dropped. And then the water flows every where.

The driver side floor matt gets wet every day, when the ac is on or it rains a lott

I had the same problem not long ago on the driver side when it rained. It turned out that there was a leak where the wiring harness comes in through the driver side of the car. To make sure this is where the leak is coming from you'll have to find where the wiring harness comes inside your car and watch it while someone pours water over your drivers side fender and you'll see the water streaming in pretty good. The best way to fix it is to remove the driver side fender so you can get to the rubber boot that seals the hole and remove it, clean it, apply RTV around the hole, replace the boot and apply more sealant around the outside. Also check where the wires go through the boot itself, you should probably go ahead a apply some extra electrical tape there just in case.
Of Course you'll also need to take the carpet out of your car and clean and dry it well.
