Allegro???? Export? In any case on 78 vehicles there is a box on the fender with six or eight wires coming out of it and a screw going into the center of the wire connector. That is the control unit (unless it has a lean burn system in which case its on the air filter housing)

I am sorry but we do not have any wiring diagrams. You can buy the factory chassis diagrams but not mnot what was added by the motor home builder. If you know what chassis the unit was guilt on you can look up a used manual here.

the 440 in the motor home usually has more torque than horsepower since it had to carry that much more weight

What is the timing order or firing order for a 1978 Dodge Truck 440 cubic egine D300?

This is the best diagram that I could find, the firing order is 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 and the ignition rotor rotation is counterclockwise.

Vehicle Just will Cut off when driving.

There are two computers under teh dash of the drivers side, one is the CECU (main computer) and the other above it is the fuel injection computer.

I am having the same problem. Did replacing the ignition power transistor on coil or the crank angle sensor on the distributor fix your problem?

You can start the car and use a hair dryer to blow some hot air on different components to see if it will fail.

1978 Austin Allegro horn problems. Horn itself is fine.

try making a seperate ground from the body to the horn. your problem is bad ground.either through the relay or or the wires.
