Question about 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee
Anitajo60, What you need to do is look in the engine compartment for a vacuum line that enters the vehicle through the firewall. This line is what allows you to change the settings from the defrost to the floor or vent. Usually what happens is the line will break from becoming too brittle from the heat of the engine. A small rubber hose that fits tightly on the vacuum hose will do just fine for a repair. Good luck with this.
