Depending on year, make and engine , you may want to retire this car. Lower end noise is the rods/ main bearings. 20 mph is low compression, which is rings or valves. This would be a rebuild or replace the engine with a used one.

I have a 1989 k1500 it idles ok in park but pull into gear it almost dies and give it gas it barley moves doesn't may later if u floor it or not it moves the same speed till about 5 or 10 miles and hour...

Sounds as if you have been thinking the issue is fuel related, but what about spark? Bad ignition module or coil? (can be tested at parts store). Vacuum leak? Test with vacuum gauge.

My 2002 Impala started knocking while on the freeway. I couldn't try past twenty miles per hour without it knocking again, I put two and a half quarts of gas and it's still knocking!

ok just checking well usaully when it starts knocking that means that either the cam bearings or the crank shaft bearings are already damaged and if the knock is coming from either placemits not good how many miles are on it

MY 2000 GMC sierra 5.3L is pinging what could it be?

if it is a knocking sound coming from the top of the motor it could be something as simple as detonation this can be casueed by the incorect fuel grade being used or from years of carbon building up in the cyclenders casueing hot spots. if this infact knocking from this you could try some higher octane fuel or a additive to increase your octane rating and it should get quieter or disapear all together. this could also be cuased by a faulty knock sensor. if the sound is more of a metal on metal sound or farly loud you could be looking at major engein problems. such as a bering getting ready to go or a stuck or sticking valve. or a wrist pin that is getting ready to let loose. is the sound coming from the top of the motor or the bottom. can you here the sound louder on the left or right side of the engen compartment. also i need to know does the sound change with the speed of the motor like when you rev it up. also does the sound get louder or quieter when the truck is under a load like climbing a hill or hard accelerating? I will be able to give a more detailed answer if you answer thous questions also what grade of fuel do you use?

Oil pressure gage

At idle, at operating temp is there any ticking from top end of engine? Are there any knocking noises brom bottom end?
If no noises, change oil and add some Marvel oil to clean out galleys. If that dosent work, change oil pressure sendingf unit. Also, if you have a mechanical oil pressure gauge, hook it up and take a direct reading. Oil pressure (in any vehicle) at idle should NEVER be less than 15psi. Generally in 4.0 jeep engines it's never less than 30, with a high reading at driving rpm of about 40-60! (but, you did not mention what engine you have)
