Best way is to remove the complete steering shaft with the lock attached and then a mini angle cutter to cut it off ,when you get it sorted make sure you have spare keys and i always hide one under the car well greased up and wrapped in plastic and dont tell anyone its their .

lost that too>?
Duplication of keys may
be performed at an authorized dealer (or locksmiths) or by using the
Customer Key Programming procedure.

DIY, takes 1 key , good, called a valid key, in the below text.
You can program new keys to the system if you have two
valid keys by doing the following:
1. Cut the additional Sentry Key Transponder blank(s) to
match the ignition switch lock cylinder key code.
2. Insert the first valid key into the ignition switch and
turn the ignition switch ON for at least 3 seconds but no
longer than 15 seconds. Turn the ignition switch OFF and
remove the first key.
3. Insert the second valid key and turn the ignition
switch ON within 15 seconds. After ten seconds, a chime
will sound and the SKIS indicator light will begin to
flash. Turn the ignition switch OFF and remove the
second key.
4. Insert a blank Sentry Key into the ignition switch and
turn the ignition switch ON within 60 seconds. After 10
seconds, a single chime will sound. The SKIS indicator
light will stop flashing, turn on for 3 seconds; then turn
off.
The new Sentry Key has been programmed. Repeat this
process to program up to a total of 8 keys.

did i guess right, the Key FOB RKE,

How to start a proton savvy with no chip in key housing

If not the battery (replacement) then check to make sure the transponder is not missing from the remote. Should be a small plastic to slot in the key. If still not working then you may need to reprogram it. It can only work if you have 2 set of keys to put in the ignition:

[1] Take the key that needs programming put it in the ignition and turn to the on position and then press and hold in the alarm reset button..

[2] While still holding in the reset button turn the ignition off and remove the key..

[3] Re-insert the key and turn the Ignition to the ON position.

[4] Release the alarm reset button and then press it in once..

[5] Now with the ignition still switched on take hold of your SPARE key and press the lock button on your spare key..the alarm should "BEEP" once..

[6] Now press the Lock button on the key that has lost its programming..alarm should "BEEP" again..

[7] Switch ignition off.

Try that it should work

Lost the key of ignition switch. How can remove it?

Several way you can remove upper and lower steering column cover and acces the ignition switch, but you will be up against 2 anti tamper screws you will have to use a pointy punch to to turn them out. Another method is drill the tumbler out and replace it,the replacement will come with a key.

your Ignition Switch is bad here is how to replace it
The ignition switch is usually mounted to the steering column and is operated by a linkage rod.
NOTE On column-mounted ignition switches, don't confuse the switch with the lock cylinder and keys. The ignition switch is not normally visible. On some vehicles, the steering column support has to be removed and the column lowered to find the ignition switch. On others, the switch is accessible under the dash.

How to remove key switch on 1994jeep

Before you start tearing into this repair, let me ask a couple of questions.
Do you want to replace the ignition tumbler assembly because you lost your ignition key, or because it is broken or worn out ?
If you lost your key I believe Chrysler can help make you a new one, you will have to get your VIN number and call your Chrysler dealer.
Please let me know

2003 elantra GLS does not start, New battery

If the car is turning over but won't stay running, it is not the ignition switch. You also said it is "trembling very badly" when it is turning over, this leads me to believe that it might just be moisture under the distributor cap or a bit of carbon build up on the rotor.
Try this: remove the distributor cap WITHOUT REMOVING ANY OF THE WIRES. There are 2 screws that hold it in place, loosen them and turn the cap over to look inside - if you see any moisture, wipe it out with a dry rag. Next inspect the rotor, that's the piece still on the engine under the cap, on the end of it is a metal contact. If it is at all blackened (carbon build up) either LIGHTLY scrape it with a flat blade screwdriver or LIGHTLY sand it until shiny with fine grit sandpaper. Put the cap back on, retighten the screws to secure it, and see if that gets it to start.
