SOURCE: need bracket to install the front end tag

You can normally contact a Ford Dealership otherwise potentially order the part via the manufacturer directly. Make sure to contact a local dealer ship to see if they have the part in stock or can order the part for your purchase. Chances are if you figure out the part number/stock number for that part you could possibly even find it else where cheaper on ebay or some one have one on craigslist.

Good luck and we hope this helps you out.

SOURCE: a/c eliminator bracket install

it should just bolt into the factory holes where the ac was. If i was you i would just take off the ac and get a shorter belt. there should be a diagram telling how to run the shorter belt. that way you dont have any money in it besides the belt and you get the same effect.

SOURCE: how to install shocks on 1956 ford sedan

They are real simple. The bottom fronts have mounting plates where the bolts go into the lower "A" leaf and the tops have a stem. On the rear its mounting bolts. There are lots of rubber bushings on them.

I had 2 1956 Fords myself, a Customline and a Crown Vic convertible. One had a 312 Interceptor engine and the other was a 292. Both had the Teapot carbs.

At one time you could get adjustable shocks or booster springs to fit around the rear shocks.

  1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
  2. Disconnect the hoses and wiring from the fender skirt.
  3. Remove all the fender skirt attaching bolts except those attaching the skirt to the radiator support.
  4. Pull out, then down, on the skirt. Place a block between the skirt and fender.
  5. Remove the blower-to-case attaching screws. Remove the blower assembly.
  6. Remove the blower wheel retaining nut and separate the motor and wheel.
  7. Reverse the procedure to install. The open end of the blower should be away from the motor. Use new sealer on the blower case flange.
