I am not sure if this is the cause but i have heard if you go with the Autolite brand of plug over the Ford Motorcraft plugs it makes a difference. Also the Plugs come pre-gapped since it is a horseshoe shape over the top so unless you dropped it on the tip that should be fine. Switch your #5 and 4 plugs see if your code jumps. Do the same with the Coil Pack and Injectors to troubleshoot. Make sure you only do one thing at a time so you can pinpoint. If that does not fix it i have heard of leaks out of the 4wd locking solenoid $29.99 at Autozone or a leaking thremostat gasket near the #5 cylinder.

Eng code p0355 and p0305 2007 mbz ml350 eng runs rough but after restarting runs ok.

p0355 indicates that engine misfire is present.

p0305 indicates that the misfire is in the cylinder number 5

Have the spark plug tested/replaced and test the cylinder number 5 spark plug coil.

you have a number 5 cylinder misfire code. three possible causes-spark plug is bad, coil pack failed, or fuel injector is plugged up or has an open wire. good luck in pinpointing the culprit!

Po316, po 300, po301, po305 2004 ford freestar

These codes are making me lean towards the ignition coil pack.My stepson's 2001 Sable 3.0 v6 had one cylinder misfiring(5-code P0305),which shares a coil with cylinder 1(code P0301).I diagnosed it by trading wire 1 and 5 at the coil, and the code changed to P0301.You have codes for the two cylinders on the same coil,so this is most likely it.(these codes would also trigger P0300(Multiple Misfires Detected) and P0316(Misfire Detected First 1000 Revs)).

Changed all spark plugs 2 coils still getting po316 and po305 what could be causing this f150 4.6 liter problem started after putting in a new fuel pump

Diagnostic Test Code (DTC) P0316 means that a cylinder misfire was detected within the first 1000 revolutions of the engine crankshaft after engine startup. This code will always be stored at the same time with freeze frame data and a fault code for the offending cylinder.
This is where DTC P0305 comes in.
This code means that cylinder #5 is the cylinder that is causing the misfire.
Coils and plugs are only two of the many possible reasons for a cylinder misfire.
The possible reasons for both of these codes are:
> Damaged crankshaft position sensor
> Ignition system (Primary or Secondary)
> Faulty fuel injector or fuel injector control circuit
> Poor fuel quality (will usually cause MULTIPLE cylinder misfire codes)
> Base engine faults (burned valves, low compression, damaged lifters or cam, blown head gasket, etc.)
> Damaged/malfunctioning PCM

NOTE: The LEAST LIKELY cause is the PCM. A damaged Crankshaft Position Sensor will usually cause problems on ALL cylinders, not a single cylinder, however it IS possible if the sensing ring is damaged.

I have a 1996 crown vic i need to know these touble codes po305 po304

P0304 means that cylinder 4 has a misfire and P0305 is a cylinder 5 misfire. What this means is you may have bad spark plugs, or bad plug wires, or you may need to replace your distributor cap and rotor. I would start with plugs and wires.
