You have to pull the guage cluster out. Its usally not too hard and doesent take too long. Tilt your steering wheel all the way down, put the shifter all the way down so its out of the way. The panel just below the guages should just pull off if you dont see any screws holding it on. Theres usally 2 screws in front of the plastic that covers the guages that need to come out. Then 4-6 hex screws that hold the guages in place. Theres a couple plugs but you should be able to pull the guage cluster out far enough without having to unplug it. To get the bulbs out, turn them counter clockwise a quarter turn and pull them straight out. the bulb should just pull out of the socket.

Toyota Yaris engine warning light - this light will stay illuminated if there is a malfunction within the engine after start up - we would advise you to use the Toyota i905 iCarsoft kit to diagnose the engine problem, the kit will also clear the codes & reset the dashboard light. You might need to replace your MAF sensor because of this warning light, if so you should visit www.bavariandominator.co.uk for a replacement.

Are you saying there is little or no coolant?
If so has the engine system gone to shut down to save the engine?
Running an engine for more than a few seconds without coolant is asking for trouble.
Are there any engine codes showing on the dashboard?

Low coolant light stays on when there is plenty of coolant

Try to reset the computer by removing the + battery cable from the battery. Wait at least 30 seconds and re-connect. Check to see if problem is corrected. If code remains replace the sensor in the coolant canister.

The low coolant light comes on and off in our 1999 Pontiac Bonneville. We were told it is a sensor. how do we change it?? Also fuel gauge is jumpy--is there a solution to that? thanks

Did this someone check it or just tell you it needed a sensor?
On some vehicles there is' a sensor on the radiator but most are in the plastic recovery tank. Just fill the tank. The coolant needs to touch it for the light to go out. While the engine is cool add 50/50 mix to the coolant reservoir/recovery ,replace cover & start engine, Check light.
When fuel tank gauges start going wacky its because 1 of only a few things has happened.
The wiring to the fuel tank sending unit has become corroded or cut somehow, the plug has become loose or corroded.
The sending unit inside the tank was hit with a syphon hose or the tank took a good hit somehow. Maybe in an accident.
It is rare that the gauge has gone bad. Not to say it hasn't happened, it's just rare.

According to my 2002 Toyota Tundra manual (and it may be different for your car) P0125 is as follows:
Insufficient Coolant Temperature
for Closed Loop Fuel Control

This would seem unrelated to your original problem.

when engines overheat they also tend to cook the electrical components at times also. you may need to replace the 2 pin coolant temp sender responsible for sending signal to the dash. the one with more wires will be for the ecu and it sounds like that one is working. cheers

No heat when car not moving

Ok, judging from what you've said it sounds like a vacuum issue. The temperature controls are activated by vacuum which is produced by the engine. Look for small hoses that lead from the intake manifold to the firewall, check them and make sure they are not broken, disconnected, or leaking.  The vacuum directly controls the doors inside your dashboard which push the air to the heater core. Also make sure that the coolant hoses going to and from the firewall are hot.  If all that checks out, then the controls inside the car may have gone bad, or may have become disconnected from the vacuum supply, or the actuator door inside the dash is stuck or broken.
