Hi. Is this auto or dsg? If DSG then I suspect the clutch pack, but a local dealer should be able to help you with this.

Where do you check oil level for automatic gearbox on vw golf gti automatic dsg 2006

You don't. There are special tools and procedures. You'll have to take it to the dealer, I'm afraid. Hope this helps.

I am in South Africa - Golf 5 2 FSI - done 95 000 km - since 90 000 km service I have had intermittant loss of power, usually in lower gears. Car still runs, as power loss lasts abouts 2 secs. Usually...

Take it to another garage, but having said that, it is difficult to troubleshoot something when the car is running fine. If it is since a service, it sounds like a faulty electrical connection somewhere.

My 2005 golf 5 gti dsg currently has 89000km on the clock. It is used extensively in traffic covering 60km/day/week. It has developed an irritating "knocking noise" in the engine.Booked it at a local VW...

i couldn't say for certain without hearing the noise , but i have replaced one or two "dual mass flywheels" on these models, alot of people don't realise the dsg actually has a dual mass flywheel.

Cost to fix oil leak from a multi clutch cover in VW GTI golf DSG?

The only place you can get a price is from a repair shop. Find a shop that does a lot of VW work.

Hi. i have a 2004 2.0 gt fsi and it sounds like a diesel

the FSI engine is a direct injection engine and they can be noisy particulaly on idle ,if you have no other issues like warning lights lack of power and its always been like it then i sugest it is the nature of the beast .this is not ******** i am a vw master tech and have had many a conversation with customers about noisy FSI engines.hope this puts your mind at rest, alternativly go to VW dealer and get them to take a listen to confirm its normal.cheers
