Question about 2001 Kia Optima
I would check the torque converter sensor. Either it is sticking or it is mis-configured. Could be the CPU starting to go out. Your CPU SHOULD be under the front passenger seat inside a plastic casing. Look for chars or raised caps(capacitors) as these could cause the hesitation you are describing.

TCM and PCM, might be in the center dash under the radio area, but from the codes you gave, I would say it's more than likely a grounding problem causing communication problems.

ZERO out your ECM (wipe out all 'adaptives'). disconnect both battery post connectors and tough them together for 30 seconds. Afterward, reconnect them to the battery... see what happens
