Question about Ford Granada
1. Check out if the tailgate switch will turns OFF the tailgate interior lamp after closing the tailgate. Replace switch if necessary.
2. Let the car unlocked inside the garage with all doors closed, and see if the problem still occurs after one or two days. If not, the driver's side rear door locking mechanism is bad and need to be repaired or replaced.
3. If the problem still occurs use a multimeter and measure if the electrical system of the car does have electrical power leakages causing battery flat. If the car does have an alarm system this is the first device suspect. Remove the alarm system out from the electrical circuit of the car, and see if the problem still occurs after one or two days.
