There could be lots of issues here. The actuator could have failed, a leaking thermistor, bad hard lines and the condenser or evaporator, or a leaking shaft seal on the compressor. I work on these all day long. Bad design. I own an International for a service truck.

To reset ac system. With key on and the engine not running turn on left turn signal and hold top cruise control buttons on steering wheel for five seconds and ac will reset and should begin to work. just had same problem with my 05 4300 dt466

Im trying to remove the oil ban on a 06 international 4300 DT466. It is hitting on the front cross member and on the trans. How do i get it out with out jacking the motor up?

You don't! Pull the motor mount bolts and jack the engine up! Use a pice of 4x4 on exaust manifold and only go up as far as U have to, to squeak it out! Should drop down and clear the tranz after that! Good luck!

Ac will not come with switch but well come on with hot wire

Could be a relay or a low pressure switch. Have you traced power from the control to the ac clutch ?

Ac compressor not engaging it is a new compressor and clutch and we just had it charged

Double check that the charge was enough. There is a pressure switch on the refrigerant line that is inline with the wire that powers the clutch for your compressor. You can check it with an ohm meter. Disconnect the two wires and check. If the system is charged properly, there should be full continuity across the pressure switch. You can check the clutch at the same point. Take the wire that goes from the switch to the clutch and supply battery power to it. It should click positively.

My compressor clutch on my car won't run when put on

Do you have sufficient refrigerant in the system? The compressor will not run if the refrigerant charge is low. If the charge is OK, then check for voltage at the clutch. If no voltage, then check the cycling switch. If switch is OK, check the fuse, wiring, and control switch.
