It is not necessary to re-program the PCM after injector replacement.

thanks i have read the jeep workshop manuel and it says that if you replace an injector in a given cyl with one with a different classification number the little number on the top of the coil either 1 2 or 3 than was in there you must reclassify ,tell the computer what number you have installed in that cylinder using the drb scan tool or smoking or poor running may occur im confused???thanks for your response.

have the fault codes read and replace the faulty units. Ask the service person if they pressure cleaned the engine as that quite often causes problems with water getting into the connections and shorting out

Hi, It is very odd not find a cause or at least verify all the injectors and components with a DRB scanner. If the engine is missing, something should have been shown on the DRB. What happens when you use the DRB to activate engine management components with the engine off ? Has the spark plug been checked or replaced & touqued to the correct spec?
