Its probably a stuck servo motor on the vent positioning if its automated but if its cable type, maybe the cable is loose.

Heating system do not work. It started a couple of weeks ago. When set at 70, it produced no warm air. cold air would come from the vent/duct. when increasted to about 76, it would produce heat. Now it do...

I have the exact same problem. Started occasionally blowing cold air. Now I can't get the hot air to come through. Could it be a flapper door that open and closes depending on the tempurature setting?

Front ac vents blow cold air but rear seat vents blow warm/hot air.

On the right lower side of the center consuel after you take the cover off tou will see an actuator mounted to the ducting. this is a dual acting unit. They come with plastic gears and also a weak coupling that drives the doors in the ducting. One of the two is stripped and to repair the unit will need to be replaced. After replacement all door actuators need to be programmed. It takes a scan tool to do this. I don't believe any aftermarket scan tool can do that. A GM Tech 2 will do it. Thanks

There is a servo (I don't know what it is technically called, but it functions like a servo on an r/c car) behind the glove box that opens and close valves in the ducts. As the valve is opening or closing it can blow through the stop on the top of the servo over time, and it gives you half and half heat/ac. You can slide the bar on top of the servo to open or close the duct by hand. What I did is left the glove box in with only one face screw. In winter, I remove the glove box and slide a metal bar that connects to the servo over by hand in get heat, and slide it the other way by hand in summer to get ac. Otherwise, it was half and half, and passengers would get rather upset by the fact that while I had heat blowing on me, they had cold air blasting them during the winter. It seemed like a pain to replace it since it has screws almost impossible to get to without a LOT of disassembly.

Air conditioner blowing hot air

Blowing hot air when set to A/C is almost always a stuck blend door, dead blend door actuator, or a cracked or disconnected blend door actuator vacuum line. The blend door is inside the a/c ducting under the dash, but the actuator will be accessible outside the ducting.

Heater blowes cold air replaced heater controls and all vales are working the heater core gets hot on both sides so how do i fix this

It seems to me if your heater core is hot, and the fan blows cold air, then your ducting is closed off. Try and see if your duct door is opening up. You say you changed out your controls, but it sounds as though it wasn't your controls that were bad, but what they control is not opening up.
It's all well and good that the heater core is getting hot, but if the fan cannot deliver that hot air passing through it, then walah.
It has to be an air duct obstruction. Either the ducting is collapsed, the duct door is not opening, or you have some obstruction blocking the ducting. My guess, because that is all I can give you without seeing for myself, is that the linkeage or solonoid that opens the duct door is not working. Older cars had a cable, but I believe newer use a solonoid to operate the opening and closing of the door. The door is there so you don't get the heat from the core when you are using AC.
Hope this helps.

Heat blows out driver vent when ac on

this problem is caused by a defective air temperature control blend door actuator motor, it is about center of dadsh in air ducting, it moves the door that diverts air for cold from ac or hot from heater, you must remove the dash to repace it, about a 15 hour job fotr a home mechanic with a factory repair manual, nearly imposs without one.

The dual climate control is blowing very cold on the driver side vents and extremely hot(like the heater is on) through the passenger vents. is there something to do to check that unit without taking in...

look under the dash and find the air ducts and put the air duct back on the ac housing that has fallen off and tape it with duct tape so it wont come off again.

A/c blows cold parked then blows hot after a few miles

engine fan not kicking in at right interval to bring air in so its pulling in hot air threw ducts
or you have a disconnected duct blowing all air out not to right place

guages could be faulty or bad a/c relay
