I have a 1998 GMC sonoma i replaced the bottom end of the engan an i dont know where the evap hose gos

There are 2 hose connection on the EVAP canister, One come from the fuel tank to the inlet port on the canister. The other goes from the outlet port to the intake manifold vacuum port.

You probably just need to replace the hose but open bleeder valve first and put a safety pin in the end sometimes they get clogged if not let me know

the most likely cause is low gas in the air con system .
most cars have a pressure switch that detects low gas level and will prevent the clutch enganing to prevent damage.

the first thing to do is to top up the gas in the air con system.
i would recommend getting this done properly as they will ensure that the correct amount of freon is in the system, but you can top it up yourself using cans of freon from a motor shop.

follow top radiator hose backe to engine it will be at the end

Open the bonnet of your 1998 GMC Sonoma, look under the radiator, you will see a hose/pipe coming out of the radiator going into the engine of the 1998 GMC Sonoma. Remove the hose and the coolant will drain.

You will see a screw holding the hose to the engine, get a screw driver to loosen the screw so that the hose can be easily removed.

After draining, pour more water into the radiator to flush out the coolant entirely from the radiator.

evap emission is a problem with your chacoal canister in fender well or hoses goin to it or maybe purge solenoid,look at your under hood schematic to see these items
