Question about 1992 Honda Civic
The Civic died without warning and will not restart. It cranks but does not fire. We checked the spark plugs and they are not firing on start up. We removed the distributor cap and the rotor inside turns freely as we attempt to start it. There was a little oil in the bottom of the cap. We completely cleaned out the distributor and dried it out. The car still won't start 24 hours later. Any help troubleshooting this problem is appreciated. Thanks.
Check your spark control module inside the distributor. You can take it out and then to you local parts store to have it tested.have them test it three times to make sure it gets to operating temp.if this does not help please let me know and we will go from there.thanks for using fixya
