How do i repair code p0154 - 2001 Chevrolet Tracker

Which O2 sensors came out of the vehicle an which did you put back in ? Two different types for that vehicle.

DTC P0134 or P0154 (w/LR4 and LM7 w/ Delphi HO2S)
DTC P0134 or P0154 (w/LR4 and LM7 w/ Denso HO2S)
DTC P0134 or P0154 (w/LQ4 w/Denso HO2S)

p7038 is not an obdll code also no vehicle information and as to p0154 --------Error Code P0154 is described as Oxygen Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected Bank 2 Sensor 1. This code appears when the PCM (powertrain control module, also known as ECM or engine control module in other brands) remains at or close the 0.450 set voltage point.

It is sensor.

code p0154 refers to heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) 1 bank 2 -- no activity detected===causes --wiring---HO2S---= ECM
it also refers to oxygen sensor (O2S) --no activity detected--===causes --- wiring---O2S sensor---ECM. May be you did not replace the sensors causing the fault.

Error Code: P0154
Description:
Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) 1 , Bank 2 - No Activity Detected
Problem areas:
- Wiring.
- Open circuit in signal wire, between Heated Oxygen sensor 1, Bank 2 and ECM. (Must check and confirm)
- Heated oxygen sensor (HO2S).
- Engine control module (ECM).

P0154 02 Sensor No Activity Circuit

This combination of codes indicates a wiring issue. Trace the wires from the sensors to find a broken wire.

both codes point to the oxygen sensor on bank 2 sensor 1 ..
that would explain the rough running also .. the engine will default to a rich condition ...

p0154 indicates no activity on bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor
p01153 is showing "low switching" for bank 2 sensor 1 oxygen sensor ...

there may be a wiring pigtail coming from the sensor. that plugs into another connector a few inches away .. check that connector for damage or corrosion .. if its ok then you likely need a new oxygen sensor ..

its not a good idea to continue driving with this condition since it will eventually damage the catilytic converter. that is probably getting very hot now with the extra load of fuel ..

P0154 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 2 Sensor 1)

Check for the following:
1. A poor connection or damaged wiring harness. Inspect the harness connectors for :

Backed out terminals
Improperly formed or damaged terminals
Poor terminal to wire connection
Damaged harness

2. A malfunctioning HO2S heater on heater circuit

I printed a list of error codes from cumminsforum.com and P0148 is a fuel delivery error, P0154 is not in the list.
