Sounds like you have a blocked drain hose that drains the water that runs down your windshield when it rains or you get a carwash. Look under the car right in-line with the bottom of the windshield on the passenger side, you should see a little drainage hole. Stick a coat hanger up the tube to unblock the drainage tube.
sounds like the drain for the air box is plugged not allowing water to drain out onto the road. its located at the lowest point of the air box outside under the hood on the passenger side firewall. its usually a rubber tube, that looks like an L. unplug it by squeezing the end of the tube to open it up more to allow the debris to come out with the excess water trapped in the air box. check and clean out drain at the base of the window were water runs down off the window as this can cause problems with drainage as well.
Feel the water and smell it. If it smells sweet and fells oily, is is coolant. If is isn't oily and has no real smell, it is water. There is a tray under the evaporator and heater cores that catches water/coolant and drains it via a tube thru the firewall to the outside of the car. This tube is probably clogged and needs purged. If you have coolant on the floor, you'll need to replace the heater core. If it is water, purging the hose will solve the problem as the water is just condensation from the AC coils
TOUCH DOWN with leaky ac into passenger compartment solved! Discovered on left side of firewall of trailblazer a series of ac hoses leading into compartment. Bottom left area are 4 hoses and one drain portal. I removed drain stem 4" long and compress bottom of portal with finger and condensation started pouring out. A total of 2 quarts of clear liquid condensation came pouring out. Tested ac afterwards and drain portal is flowing freely underneath vehicle.
There is always drain tube because AC always condenses water. The drain tube must have become disconnected. Look underneath the car and you will see it pointing down.
if you look on the engine side of the firewall you will see a rubber tube on the passenger side of the vehicle bent at a 90 degree angle that is the drain tube. very carefully try to insert something stiff into tube to see if it is blocked
2004 TB 60,000 miles. i was just told that the leaking fluid in my passenger side floorboard was do to a clogged up A/c hose. An A/C works by drying/ removing the moisture from the air inside the vehicle and cooling it. The accumulated fluid is usually evacuated under the vehicle which is what you see when people are stopped at a red light and there is dripping under their car. when a hose is blocked there is a vent that from some reason flows directly into the passenger side floor board. If you can not manually knock loose the block your probably going to have to take it to a mechanic.
