Depends on the engine - if you have the 3.0 V6 you can run on regular oil (5W30), but may be a little better off with a synthetic blend. If you have the 2.0T four cylinder, stick with synthetic oil only such as Mobil 1 - the turbo fours are known for oil sludging issues that synthetic can help to keep a little more under control.
