I jump started my 07 mustang after a total dead battery and after a few seconds the radio pops and shuts down. It wont come back at all like a total power shut down but checked all fuses and they are all ok

I have an 07 mustang. The battery died, had to jump it, fried radio no warning or anything, just never came back on. I bought new battery, took it to dealership, checked all electrical...told me all else was good except radio fried. 2 days later, battery dead again, new battery...I have been told to pull fuse out from kick panel, to the radio n amp, both the same, i have n waiting to see if this is the problem. Mechanic told me that even though radio is dead, car is thinking its on and pulling current even with car off. I will keep you posted, maybe yours n mine are having same problem.

I parked my 07 cobalt ltz the battery drained and wont take a jump now it wont start or crank

First clean the battery posts, to much corrosion cause cause a no jump start condition. Sometimes a cell or two in the battery is dead. This is why you can't jump start the car. Replace the battery.

How do i know when my alternator is going bad

If the batt light is on, the alternator is not charging the battery.
If the battery won't hold a charge, it could be failing.
If you are having a specific problem with your PT Cruiser or Mustang, let us know what it is.

Radio quit playing now car wont start cannot shift into nutrial

The first thing to check is the battery, if the battery is dead try jump starting it with another car or use another battery, if it then starts you should have the alternator tested, most autoparts stores do this at no charge, it may be that the alternator is not keeping the battery charged.

Dashboard lights and gauges go out, windows won't work

Your alternator is out. Those are classic symptoms of alternating going out. The alternator recharges your electrical system and when it goes out a list of strange things go on inside the dash, and you won't be able to go very far on just a battery. I'm glad you at least made it home. But yes you will need a new alternator for sure. Please rate this response so I can get my ratings back up to 90% at least.

@novo07 mustang v6 shaker 500 radio 6cd changer, complete battery dead. after jump, radio wont come on at all. dead. Bought new battery, still no radio at all. all else works, fuses are good in kickpanel...

you may have blown an internal fuse on the radio. sometimes radios have an inline fuse on the red wire, located behind the radio. You must remove it to discover this problem though.

My battery went dead on my 07 VW Jetta wolfsburg edition and when I jumped it the radio stopped working, Can I fix it?

Hopefully it is just the fuse, check the Fuse box under the bonnet, also there may be a fuse directly in the back of the head unit that could have popped.
