OK..
The first step is Remove the Speed senosr .
Check the Dents if you see damaged you will need to change the ROTOR. or PINION.
But if is OK.. get the Respectives Codes. This car is a SELFT DIAGNOSTIC Funtion.
Follow this step.
Remove the Right Kick Panel. On right side a little upper at level of the Glove Box. you will see 2 connectors
1 Blue 1 Green.
IN some cases Only 1.
The connector with 2 wires.
Make a BY PASS with a small piece of wire.
With the Ignition switch OFF.
Turn the switch to ON position.
SEE the "S" or "D4" Light Flashing.
Count the Flashing . LONG flash is 0 or 10.
Short flash is one digit Example 123.....9.
one long flash en 4 short flash is Code 14.

Do this and come back and giveme the code or number of flashes and I will give to you the right prosses to solve your problem.

Thank you for use fixya.

91 accord shifts hard

You have transmission issues, the first thing to do is have the fluid changed in the transmission to see if that improves the hard shifting and then go from there.

MAKE SURE THE TRANS FLUID IS AT THE PROPER LEVEL. IF THIS IS GOOD, CHECK AND TRY TO ADJUST THE KICK DOWN CABLE. TWO CABLES TO TRANS, ONE IS THE LINK TO YOUR SHIFTER AND THE OTHER IS THE KICK DOWN CABLE.

No, those sensors are seperate from transmission, should be a solenoid that is electrically controlled inside the transmission that controls the shifting.

Trans dont shift up when car slows down and stalls?

HI. kindly inspect the level of your transmission fluid. If it is up to specs, this will lead to a failed kick-down shift solenoid. This solenoid is responsible for the down shifting of the gears in the transmission unit. The solenoid must be replaced, if the fluid level is sufficient.

This repair is not easy. It will require you to drain the transmission and pull the pan to properly access the internal valve body structure of the transmission solenoid mounting points.
