Question about 2004 Chrysler Sebring
Hello I have a 2004 Chrysler Sebring. After changing the thermestat the car stopped overheating. However, white smoke is being released through the exhaust pipe. is this a head gasket problem? If so why can't I find the do it yourself section in my manual?
Well, it sounds like it could either be a head gasket or a cracked head. (sorry for being so blunt with possible bad news)
The reason that you can't find a "diy" manual is because your car is too new and the manuals have not been released yet.
For the most part, you can look at one of the older versions of the manuals and the information will probably be the same for your car. They only change when something is added or taken off the cars. The torque specs should be the same for the like engine sizes.
I hope this helps
