I have a 1998 Plymouth voyager and the climate control lights are flashing. I ran a test i found on the internet and got it down to two lights flashing(the ac and the recirculate). I got it to where the a/c clutch kicks on but the recirculate isn't working and the lights are still flashing. Can anyone help me?

OK got your message on the other post (About the van) I am assuming that your Voyager is equipped with Automatic Climate Control. Follow the instructions below and you will get a better idea of what is wrong with your system.

Calibration/Diagnostics
1. To enter calibration/diagnostics test, set parking brake. Start and warm engine to normal operating temperature. With engine idling, turn blower switch to high. Turn mode switch to panel. Open all outlets. Move temperature to full cold.
2. Press and hold rear wash and rear wiper buttons simultaneously for 5 seconds (Until ALL LEDs illuminate). All LEDs should illuminate for 5 seconds. Rear wiper and intermittent rear wiper button LEDs will flash alternately during calibration/diagnostics test.
3. After approximately 60 seconds, if only the rear wiper button LED is flashing, calibration is successful and the system is okay. If rear wiper and intermittent rear wiper button LEDs are flashing, Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) are present. (See "Reading Diagnostic Codes" below)
4. To exit calibration/diagnostics test at any time, press the rear window defogger button, rear wiper button, or cycle the ignition off and then on. Test will automatically terminate 15 minutes after calibration/diagnostics is entered.

Reading Diagnostic Codes
1. Perform calibration/diagnostics test. If a DTC is present after calibration/diagnostics test has been performed, system will flash rear wiper and intermittent rear wiper button LEDs in sequence. Rear wiper represents code level, and intermittent rear wiper button LED represents code value.
2. Each time the rear wash button is depressed, rear wiper button LED wil cycle to the next code level in numeric sequence. After code level 5 is reached, rear wiper button LED will cycle back to code level 1. See table below.

Why are a/c dash buttons lights blinking of and on? a/c works.

Hi Harold, The light blinks to tell you there is a problem with the electronically controlled climate control. Take the vehicle for a diagnostic scan for that section of management and that will indicate where the problem is. Regards John

Heater wont turn off

More than likely the switch on the climate control panel is bad, most vehicles have a relay behind the or attached to the climate control panel that you can change out. If not you may have to go to a auto parts store or a junk yard for a replacement climate control switch. Hope it helps.

Lights on a/c flash on and off this started when i couldnt get it to start got a jump then the security was acting goofy had to put security key in to start it and now a/c dash lights flash

1998 Plymouth Grand Voyager-similar happen to me when my battery was very low. I replaced the battery, then rear wiper control lights flashed, a/c control lights flashed.
HVAC controls need to be recalibrated, this is a factory test that involves pressing these control buttons in a certain sequence, which may take a couple minutes to complete. I'm sorry I don't have the written steps to share, but I hope this leads you to a solution.

Need to reset flashing instrument lights

Here's what i found is supposed to work.

1. Set blower to HIGH
2. Set mode position to PANEL (AC vent air)
3. Open all AC outlets
4. Temp. on full cold
5. Start engine
6. Push WASH and REAR WIPER switches for 5 seconds until all panel lights are on solid
System will then go through it's paces as it calibrates the climate controls
7. When calibration is complete only the REAR WIPER switch/light should be flashing. Press this switch to extinguish the light
and all should work normally.

Dashligts are blinking, air..rear..ac

At some point prior to your problem a series of buttons were pushed which caused the activation of the CALIBRATION DIAGNOSTICS AND COOL DOWN TEST"

The test can be aborted by doing the following:

Depressing Rear Window Defogger, RECIRC and Rear Wiper buttons.
Cycling Ignition OFF and then ON.
Control will automatically abort after 15 minutes from the time Calibration Diagnostics and Cool down was entered.
The HVAC control module will return to normal operation or may indicate unsuccessful Calibration Diagnostics or Cool down test by LED's flashing simultaneously.
