Question about 1996 Nissan Maxima
I have a 96 Nissan Maxima GLE with 207000miles and have been having the same problem. Car (sometimes) hesitates at stoplights and I had my first random stall at a stoplight yesterday. Runs great otherwise.
Heading to the shop tomorrow to see if I can figure it out.
Keep me posted on your discoveries and I will do the same.
So far I've come up with these suggestions:
Main ECM Relay
Ignition Switch Coil
It could very well be the fuel filter if this hasnt been changed recently may be a good place to start, also the have platinum spark plugs as imports and prefer to run on 95 or higher octane fuel.. hope this helps
